Minimum hardware requirements for Windows 7.

The minimum hardware requirements for Windows 7 are:

  • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
  • 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
  • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
  • Essential Requirement
  • Personal Computer.
  • DVD RW Drive
  • Bootable Wndiwos 7 CD/DVD.

Now get ready
-Ensure that, Your CD/DVD Rom Drive selected as your first boot device.
-Insert Your bootable CD/DVD of Windows 7 into your DVD RW Drive.
-Please reboot your ComputerWhen re-staring, a window will come with the message of Press any key to boot from CD/DVD. Then press “Enter key” or any others key.
Now your setup will start. Few time computer will work for itself. Windows will loading like below screen

Don’t go to do anything, please wait. When you get below’s screen then start your work.

There has three option.

1. Language to install.
2. Time and currency format.
3. Keyboard or input method.

Select language, time and currency format, keyboard or input method as your like then click on Next button. you can forward from this screen with defoult setting by clicking only on Next button.
A window will come like below.

Click on “Install now” button and wait until getting below’s screen.

If you have much time to read license terms you can do, otherwise click on I accept the license terms check box and then Next.

windows7_install_typeThis screen provides two options, Upgrade and Custom (advanced). The upgrade option is for those who wish to upgrade an existing installation of older version of Windows to Windows 7. It is confirmed that Windows Vista can be upgraded to Windows 7 with out any issues, but Windows Xp is still a problem.

We select here Custom (advanced) option to avoid all type problem. Now you will be asked for below’s question.

There has an unpartitioned empty disk. If your hard drive partitioned before then all your hard drive partitions (e.g. C:\ , D:\ , E:\ etc.) will be listed here. Choose the drive as you like to install Windows 7 (a 15 GB size is recommended).

If you like to create partitions click on Drive options (advanced). Below screen will display for your click.

Follow above instruction and then click on Next button.

Clicking on Next button you will get below’s screen. Now computer will work for a long time. so you can take rest to take a cup of tee.

After copying file computer will reboot.

 Then again start installation of Windows-7 please wait until getting below’s screen.

Type a user name and click on Next button. Now you will be asked for set up your password.

Type your password and password hint then click on Next button. You will find bellow screen.

If you have product key, please enter here. If don’t have click on Next button.

There has three option.

1. Use recommended settings.
2. Install important updates only.
1. Ask me later.

Click at Ask me later. You will get below’s screen.

Set up your time zone, time and date then click on Next button.

There also has three option.

1. Home Network.
2. Work Network.
3. Public Network.

Click at Home Network.

You can skip this screen by clicking skip button. If you want you can create a home group clicking on Next button.

Your windows-7 installation has completed. Now you can install your customize software as you like. So enjoy………..
